The Body & Blood Project Online Ads Campaign
I shot The Body & Blood project, a series of performance films, on my mobile phone, where I told the story of The Vigilante Cannibal Nun in song and verse.
I launched The Body & Blood with an ongoing marketing and messaging campaign, through social media and its own website.
And I strategically managed a series of online ads on Instagram using the films to see if there was interest in the work, to test the market and to gage what kind of responses the work gained.
Episode 1, initially got 23K plays and a plethora of responses, likes and an expanded following across the UK and Ireland.
This was based on a tiny budget of £20 a week, targeting arts audiences in the UK and Ireland and even specific cities, until I got the figures I wanted.
This gave me the confidence to move onto the next stage of the project - the live performances.
